1 on Claymore’s Dual Ethereum + Siacoin/Pascal/Keccak GPU MINER v11.9
Today I’m going to review one of the most used (GPU) Cryptocurrency mining software, Claymore’s dual ETH + Siacoin/Pascal/Keccak GPU Miner. One of the best features of this cryptocurrency miner is that this miner is very easy to use. Just with 1 click, you can start earning cryptocurrency money, for example, ETH (Ethereum). Also, you can mine 2 currencies at the same time! You don’t need to buy a special hardware (ASIC Miners, Antminers) to mine Ethereum or Siacoin. This cryptocurrency mining software uses your GPU and CPU power to calculate complex algorithms. Almost with any personal computer, you can earn a little bit of money with this Claymore’s miner. But in this case, it may be not profitable. But why?
So, this miner is totally free of charge and everyone can download it and run it on almost every computer. The minimum requirements are Windows 10 x64 (64-bit), Video card (AMD or NVIDIA) >2 GB minimum, decent CPU, internet connection (must). To use this miner and get the best profits you will need to have a good (gaming) video card like for example, GTX 1060 and later (with the latest drivers). These video cards must have more than 3 GB otherwise you will be not able to mine ETH (Ethereum) or ETC (Ethereum Classic).
Yes and no, if you are using a video card that has 3 GB and less then you will pay 0% fee. Because with these cards you can’t mine ETH (Ethereum) and ETC (Ethereum Classic). But if you are using video cards that have more than 3 GB then you will pay 1% developers fee and if you are dual mining it increases to 1.5%. So that means that Claymore’s GPU miner mines every one hour for developer 36 or 54 sec. You also have an option to remove the miner’s fee, with a command line “-nofee”. But then your miner will mine slower and you will earn less money.
First, if you are using multiple GPUs than the first step is to set virtual memory size to 16 GB or more. Instructions, “Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory”. Second, go to the (click here) and download the latest version of the miner, extract it on your desktop in a separate folder. Open it, and change settings, replace the default payment address to your own. Done, you are ready to start with mining. (For detailed instructions please go to the official page of the miner itself.)
Claymore’s miner is improving with every update. The developers are actively updating it. It is not a bad idea to start using it, in some countries mining is still profitable and this miner can do the job easily. With every update, there’s an increase in speed and efficiency. So that means that with every update this miner is getting a lot faster. For more questions or detailed description about the miner itself visit the official website with the link below.
